Restoration Preparation
PJ’s Restoration Process
1. Roof Inspection
As with all of our quotations, PJ will attend you property and inspect the condition of the roof and determine the specific materials required for your job, we then provide a detailed quotation outlining the process.
2. ColoUr Selection
We can assist with your colour selection by providing Dulux or Colorbond colour swatches and offering options to suit your existing or new colour scheme.
3. Care of your property
We routinely take every precaution to protect your downpipes, gutters and walls from any mess created by the cleaning and repair process. This includes the use of tarps, masking film and filters.
4. Repairs and Replacement of Broken Tiles
As a result of our initial inspection all cracked or broken tiles are replaced, ridge cappings and old concrete are removed (where required), then new concrete is applied to re-secure the ridge cappings. At this time we may also replace cracked or split flashing and secure loose valley tiles with valley clips.
5. High Pressure Water Blasting
High pressure water blasting is required to remove moss, lichen and grime to achieve best results. For previously painted roofs, this process will be to remove old, flaking paint and bring the tile surface back before priming.
6. Repointing
The last step before painting is the repointing of your ridge caps and gables where required. We use a high quality flexible pointing and ensure that your weep holes are in

The final step in your roof restoration is the primer coat, specific to your roof type, then 2 coats of the Dulux Acratex 962 Roof Membrane in your chosen colour. You are left with a freshly painted roof that looks as good as new, and includes the workmanship and manufacturers warranty!
